Tim, I am a non theist, not as you define an atheist. Absent in me is any belief in god. Present is a 99.9999999..........10>10>10 surety that there is no truth in it. The vanishungly small remainder is the credence that i must leave as a scientist to the belief. There are those that are in on the con and those outside it. I am sure that in the RC hierarchy there are some who know it is a con. Remember they murdered a pope a few years back. The the scientology church i think quite a few more are in on the con.Some no doubt are full of devout believers Other religions will be a mixture of these extremes. Garner Ted Armstrong/ and son and the Jim Bakkas certainly know it is a con, Bill
