I don't think so. A knockout at this point would only drive them towards irrational exuberance in the face of Hammer. In fact, I think some of them continue to think that Hammer will be a knockout for Northwood, but at this point, they are staying quiet because the Athlon XP is still not out of the race.

I agree there... I'm hoping that Intel has the knock-out punch still in the bag, but I'm not sure Prescott is going to be a knock-out when compared to K8... Of course, then there's always Tejas...
