Oh. Well, I can neither confirm nor deny anything about death. I *suspect* that I might die one day, and I *suspect* that I may never wake up from this particular state. I am hoping that we all become Halperin-immortal or that people from the future or deities revive us via time travel or magic or something like that. But I can't be sure exactly.


Apparently, I am not communicating clearly. You had said that you find people who believe in religion and God are happier. I took that one step further and said may be they are happier because their religion encourages them to believe in life after death and so they don't have to fear death. I then said it was a kind of denial...a denial of what seems to be really happening which is that life ends at death. I then considered the notion that denial may be the key to happiness and we might consider extending it to all aspects of our lives. I hope that clears things up.

In addition, I was wanting to know what :p means. TIA.
