Perhaps you can explain it better as to which browser you use, etc.

It sounds like something that can be changed in the "Preferences" section.
For example, if you are using Netscape, you click on "Edit" and bring down the window.
Scroll down and you'll see preferences. You might be able to select it there...
With Windows Internet Explorer you can do that too but I don't think your preferences are under
the edit section.

Regardless, you will probably need to have the url of your favorite search engine available.

Here's a better answer than my first reply.

You must be using MS internet explorer.

1. Click the "Search" icon. It will bring up that new frame/partition/window/thingamajig on your browser.
2. Click on "Customize" located in that new frame.
3. Chose the search engine of your choice from their list.

I don't see Google listed there. Too bad. They are my favorite, too.
