Has already cleared both resistance levels identified early today (see 11:39 comment). Look for additional overhead in the area of 33.70 which represents the upper end of its 10-day Bollinger bands. To the downside, watch for initial support at 33.10 followed by subsequent support at 32.50.

16:25 ET UTStarcom (UTSI) 27.11 -2.22: Company announces that the number of subscribers using its PAS and IP-based PAS city-wide wireless access systems in Mainland China has increased to approximately 3.0 million as of Dec. 31, 2001 an addition of 1 million subscribers in Q4 2001 or approximately 50% sequential growth.
