I trust Bush, Rumsfeld, Chaney, Powell, Rice,
Try as they might SDI is not the oil business and they appear to be suckers for a lobbiest with a slick red-white-and-blue story and a suitcase full of campaign money. Powell is the only one who might be expected to have seen the Star Wars proposals and they keep pushing him off into minor roles.
