On the TV / internet front (remember "convergence"?) , I stumbled on this handy looking little site while googling for net ratings: zap2it.com , or more usefully, zap2it.com . Not being much for TV myself, what interested me was alliance.zap2it.com , which expands a little on what's publicly available at the Nielsen site, pm.netratings.com . I was amused to see troubled SI parent InfoSpace still on the top 25 list, though they're on the bubble at #25. I was somewhat relieved to see "mainstream" sites dominating the news category, somewhat in contrast to the broadcast world where Murdoch organs and similar "objective" sources are forever on the rise.
