Joe, SI wouldn't let me respond to your message about the virus so I am replying to this one instead.
I'm not sure it it's an SI problem or if it is my computer. Even though I deleted the virus and even though 2 scans tell me that my computer is clean I don't think it is.
My outlook express has not worked since I got the virus and today I am having a lot of trouble on some websites that other people have not had a problem with.
I am trying to get to the Symantec website to download Norton's but it's one of the places that I can't seem to get to.
I have the fix for the virus but if I don't have it, I'm afraid that I will do more harm than good.
Sigh.......
Susie

Sler,

I've been putting my machine into standby on purpose lately instead of shutting it off because I seem to always get memory failures if I turn on the machine from "off". (It's fine once it warms up.) I can kick it out of standby by just moving the mouse. My recollection is there is a setting in the BIOS to enable the mouse to activate from standby.
