So why the news in advance that Lehman expects positive commentary from CSCO? What's the game here? Why speculate publicly in advance of an announcement, unless they want to help guide the stock up by putting a positive spin on things before the facts are out? I just can't believe that anyone would try to influence the market. Next you'll be casting rumours about on the existence of Santa Claus. Ok, more seriously, I wonder how much what any analyst says these days actually matters? Does it matter to JQP who has seen her/his funds decimated? Rumours are that some of the worst practioners of analytical incompetence have been spotted hiding out in Antartica lest they be found by an armed public. Unfortunately I can see a bullish case in the charts but believe a nice dip would be much more healthy. In the morrow we shall know what is what.
