Bill traditionally agnostic refers to someone who is uncertain and undecided and atheist means someone who thinks that God does not exist.

Note this belief doesn't have to be absolute and total. Just as a theist can be less then 100% certain but think that God does exist, an atheist can be less then totally certain but still believe that there is no god or gods. Logic can support either idea depending on your initial premises. Science can not answer the question. Any firm opinion other then uncertainty is a matter of faith. If rather then a firmly committed opinion you have a "working hypothesis" that there is no god but you have an open mind about it then I would say that you are an agnostic who leans towards atheism.
