Tim, At least make the churches pay for the services they use, so as to not be state subsidised.
Moral or common sense? Agreements to respect right of property and women and life? or moral laws? Moral laws can change with morals. It can become good work to take someones property(monopoly anyone)
In any even there are societies that have no real property laws Amerindians felt it should all be free. then we took them....immoral to us.

I once read a novel where the forefathers landed and the indians wanted landing fees and customs duties etc. America became too costly to pursue.
