Tim, Well, I feel all classical religion is a con and it has survived it creators by many years. the fresh new ones like creationism still have the con men in it.
At the start it is made as a con by one man. After a while the origin is lost and it perpetuates itself and cloaks itself in newbies who believe.

There some that claim the short lived pope of a few years ago was killed because he was going to change too many dogmas??

Bill

Here is a synopsis of why these stocks were added to the Zacks #1 Ranked List:

Broadvision Inc. (Nasdaq: BVSN): Analysts are getting excited and posting significantly narrowed losses, and sentiment continues to improve for future quarters. It was just named to CMP Media's Intelligent Enterprise Magazine's "Companies to Watch" list. Broadvision has a strong customer base that significantly leveraged the company's technology to improve performance over the holiday season.

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS): This company is in the game as the #1 player in the video game space with 5 titles in the top-selling list. The company beat the Street three quarters in a row and the analyst with the best track record forecasting the company's earnings reveals a $.11 upside per share. That's some game! Analysts are incredibly optimistic on the video game space predicting new consoles may blow away sales estimates.

Here is a synopsis of why these stocks have a Zacks Rank of 2 (Buy):

Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD): Analysts are excited about this semiconductor company predicting it will be one of the leaders as we come out of the current recession. The company is incredibly optimistic about its new Athlon chip touting it as the "highest performing" chip and its newly gained share of the market. Seems the analyst community is also giving them high marks and the latest estimates are considerably higher than the consensus.

Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C): This financial behemoth is poised to thrive in '02 and analysts' numbers look awesome! It was recently named Wall Street's top underwriter, a role that should prove lucrative as M&A activity is supposed to accelerate this year. The company is also streamlining its operations selling off 20% of its insurance group. Some find its valuation compelling even on 2000 and 2001 earnings.

Tim, my theory on the soul is that its a parasitic entity that leeches onto humans and moves on when they die.

Now this theory may not be a ted original since I saw a lot of scifi movies and read a lot of scifi books when I was a kid. <g>
