Paul, Everything you said is correct. I have used the same kind of reasoning myself. I used to use IBD, Value Line and a lot of other information resources. They did not help me. I use technical analysis and common sense. Common sense tells me not to hold AMAT short for any great length of time. Technical analysis however tells me I will most likely make money. I believe 41 is likely in the next 7 to 8 trading sessions at most. Probably 40 again. Then I will consider going long again. Just my opinions and they may or may not turn out to be factual. RtS
