>> 128MB Sony memory sticks list for $149.95, so a cellphone removable memory is no big deal.

Your point is even clearer if the cellphone uses the CompactFlash format. 128MB cards available at Costco for 49 bucks.

The cell phone market really needs the companies with their own IPR to start making cell phones like MSFT & Sony. Companies like Nokia & Motorola have pitiful little too offer the cell phone market anymore, now that the phones have become IT devices. They are now consumer electronics equipment as much if not more so than cell phones.

I want a cell phone with a memory slot to plug memory sticks or other removable storage functions that can share information with computing devices (pc, laptop, mp3, digital camera). It is important that cell phones not only download information at high speeds, but fill the requirement to transfer the data too.
