Elmer, yes, phenomenal Intel yields are the thing that allows Intel to produce 3 times as many of it's flagship CPU in 6 fabs as AMD produces in 1 fab. I see you're starting to feel like your old self John. Please list the 6 fabs Intel used to produce the P4 and did you know it should have yielded less than 1/2 Athlons yield? Yields must be well over 100% now, since the Coppermine had yields of 90% at 120mm die size, and the die sizes are now 146mm or 210mm. I'd ask where you got your 90% yield but I remember your style.
