Merril was cautious on mobile fone stocks yesterday. Today JPM made similar comments. That is why TXN and QCOM been weak lately. I presented some sales observations from the mobile phone industry to the thread a few weeks back suggesting this market had stopped growing and there was no Xmas boom. The sales fugures coming in from the likes of Radio Shack in the US and Dixons group in Europe are the accounting confirmation of what I found out from enquiries in the field. My enquiries in the field still say the mobile phone market is in a slump. Don't know about Asia though as I have no contacts in the industry there.
