OK. So that's a pretty efficient way to buy publicity, I'd say. Pretty crafty. Nonetheless, you don't see computers on that cover every other issue. My guess is that Time's editors wouldn't care enough about getting a scoop on, say, a new Dell to give up the cover for it.

I'm not sure that what the editors of Time think about the iMac's design really matters one way or another anyway. If they really believed this computer was the second coming, would that matter to a buyer?
