Paul,

A double top (DT) is a reversal pattern and is not identifiable except retrospectively. So which is it, a DT or a precursor to "$50, then 52, followed by $56"?

Sam

Paul V,
The magic number is 63. I don't know why the AMAT traders use 63 (or around that area) as the staging point when they finally decide to go to 100 and above. Maybe, when they reach 63, they find themselves closer to 100 than to zero --- so they just follow the easier, shorter route.
