There is NO change in policy. It is exactly Gore's policy. Only difference is they've changed the technology they're backing.

You don't need to keep responding with articles about the bright future of the hydrogen economy. It only makes my case that the Federal Government does NOT NEED to stick its nose into that business.

Everyone loses when government picks winners and losers. They can't back everyone with a great idea. How many world-changing ideas have died because the government imprimatur and money was placed elsewhere, starving the worthy loser?

How dare an elected official decide that the oil industry deserves to be hurt? This violates the sacred principle of equal protection under the law.

I do not see who loses here, except the oil companies.

Any company that thinks its business is supplying oil, and not energy is a business that's not being managed for the long haul.
