Re: PD SOI is a huge disappointment

Yet the transistors AMD has produced are 50% faster than Intel's, and are going to be put into production several years sooner.

If that's a disappointment, what will it take to make AMD happy?

wanna,

AMD will spend a lot of money to implement a technology that won't give them a lot of mileage.

And they'll spend alot more of OPM (Other People's Money), too. Perhaps those "other people" will learn and not invest in AMD again.

Oh, woe is AMD. Pretty soon, they will have to spend their own money. AMD shareholders better hope that they retain that DLJ guy on their BoD.

If not, AMD will lack the sufficient capital infusion...
