Instead of pts, we should be using percentages. Today had a 1.95% intraday reversal on the COMPX. I found 13 similar days just since July of 2001. Two days ago alone had an ~1.5% reversal. Dec 21st (give or take a day- Im eyeballing the chart) had a 2% reversal and 3 in Oct. One looks to be about 5-6% reversal. In other words, more common than I thought with no apparent pattern.

Edit- the most common pattern following such a reversal during the run off the Sept lows seems to be a cross/star candle followed by a run of a few days, or a hammer reversal and then run for a while.
