While the Athlon XP 2000+ maintains parity with the 2GHz Northwood in some tests, the 2GHz Northwood CPU pulls ahead of AMD's fastest CPU in many benchmarks (and note that the Athlon had left the Willamette gasping to keep up in many tests in the past). The 2.2GHz Northwood, with only a couple of exceptions, is the undisputed performance leader of the moment.
