Selling Cisco is not for everyone. I've been very into locking in my gains and using them to diversify in the last year. For awhile there, I was really overweighted in tech stocks and Cisco in particular. So it was only prudent to trim back the losers as well as the ones that I still had sizeable gains in. Truth is I should have done it back in March of 2000. Instead, I waited until the end of 2000 to begin the process, which is now almost complete. Good luck to you!
