NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- A powerful tech rally faded in the final hour of trading on Wednesday as tired buyers bailed out and sent the averages spiraling lower.

"The market's got tired blood. We're kind of in no man's land with the market searching for clues [to support the] turnaround story," remarked Bryan Piskorowski, market commentator at Prudential Securities.

Possibly fraying some nerves on Wall Street was news a U.S. military plane crashed in southwestern Pakistan with seven Marines on board.

``You're right that 150,000 (by the end of March) may be a bit tricky considering we have only about 30,000 or 40,000 now. But to have 1.5 million in the next fiscal year is something we're quite confident in.''

If they have 35,000 or so subscribers this would be pretty decent growth compared to the way they were going initially. FOMA had 14,000 subscribers at the end of November....so they may have averaged a little below 4,000 new subs a week since then. Nothing spectacular but at least it is steady progress.
