I don't know. Me and my wife, who is from China, are discussing criminal justice issues tonight. One of the things was the girl who is complaining about having to remove her scarf at the airport. We both agree, that her complaint is without merit. But, I pointed out to her, that that is irrelevant. She just wants to sue, and when she goes to court, the lawyer picks out the dumbest, most manipulataple jurists possible, and then wins.

There is no defense a corporation has to this type of blackmail, that Jesse Jackson specializes in.

She says something about how in China, they do not have that problem. And brings up Yates, and says how she would be dead by now.

I respond, that it is not really that bad here. Our jurists are being manipulated, but they are also expressing their thoughts, and not just casting their decision based on what they think the government wants. Their is much reason to be skeptical of the government. Or big business.

But still, when the legal system is based on the lowest common denominator of society, it is susceptible. There are many things wrong with our legal system, and it is better that a guilty man go free than an innocent be convicted.

The problem is, how to get government and the people back in harmony. It is obvious that the allowing the belly aching from the liberals to go on and on, and hoping that it will subside, doesn't work. Some are predicting a confrontation this year between science and religion. I am not one of those. I am predicting a confrontation between the warlords of poverty, and the rest of America.
