One phrase that I have heard over and over to describe the Bush administration is that:

"it operates in secret."

W hid Reagan's Presidential papers for a year. They should have been released last January.
W hid his own records when he was Governor of Texas. After he left office, he shipped his
official records to his father's library so that they could not be released.

The Patriot Act infringes upon our civil liberties.

Ashcroft infringes upon everyone's civil liberties with one exception: Ashcroft supports people who
sell guns even if they sell guns to terrorists
who export those guns to the Middle East and other
countries. Even the FBI has protested against the way Bush and Ashcroft's conducts the
government's business. And the FBI is upset that W will not release papers about a
crime that occurred a number of years ago.

See: Our cover page. Item 4. Bush Hides Papers on the FBI Evil-Doers
