_z, There are no intelligent people who believe in religion. Only those who feel constrained by societal pressure to adhere to the common dogma. Clinto, for instance. While president he went to church every sunday, yet he was a well avowed atheist/agnostic or other form if disbeeliever in his younger days.
Once he needed votes.....he followed the party line.

Another forme of invisible coercion.

Yeah, but for some reason I tend to discount their intelligence just a little... I hate to do it, but that's the way it is.
