nspolar. <still no OSX/NG for me>

Both PMs and Patch plays have been and will continue to do well. For me it's been like watching a Chinese ping pong match. Hey, I'm a little laid back for the rapid sector rotation we've been seeing during the past year. But have to take what the market gives you to work with.

Per past posts whet gangbusters into the PMs with appropriate table pounding in late November. Then the week before Christmas took my best ST gains of the year in the PMs (except for holding SSRI & HL which am still riding) and rotated the proceeds into heavy buying in fav patch plays. Then yesterday got stopped out of the large trading blocks in most of those positions. Whew! Fun but a lot more work vis a vis ST trading than I like to do. In Bull Markets my fav holding periods range from 1 to 7 months.

But, again, I'm not running this railroad. So got to be flexible enough in my strategy and tactics to take advantage of what Mr Market is offering. As I said to Russ Winter, got to feed the kids every now and then<g>

All that being said, the period between Thanksgiving and now has been the most profitable since the 1st 9 months of 2000! And that was one dynamite market. Not expecting this to last. But while it's here, gonna ring the cash register.

Cheers,

Isopatch
