No wonder you and others want to test with RtCW instead of Quake III or others - it does put the Athlon in a better light. And yet so many of the AMDroids have claimed that RtCW is nothing more than the QuakeIII engine, yet the Athlon comes out ahead. I wonder about the look on your face and others' when you saw the 2.2GHz Northwood outperform the Athlon XP 2000+ on this benchmark.

Now that Athlon supports SSE, no one will support 3DNow except for legacy AMD processors.
