Nice post, but it remains that the Republican controlled congress would not support the plan. Thus Clinton went around congress to get the money for the bailout. If this bailout had not occurred NAFTA would have collapsed. I was not aware that Gingrich and Dole helped Clinton to try accomplish the bailout. Thanks
