But we are talking about real life people many of whom look back and some tough guys who don't. Today we have a new word "collateral damage." Phrases like "harms way" to assuage the fear implied by the straight forward "danger" make things easier to swallow in this era of gentility and kindness. At least Shakespeare didn't put a spin on everything. I agreed with everything above except the part...this era of gentility and kindness. What's reported may not be the total picture, but there seems to be a world wide dearth of gentility and kindness. It seems like we're regressing back to the middle ages. There is much War Lord terminology being thrown about and not much from the Mother Theresa types. "Spin" is dead on target. Not a war; it is a conflict. It helps dodge that nasty Geneva Convention stuff. jttmab
