Sharpton is the Dem party. He is the natural end product of their race-based politics. And the Dems will have to listen to him - just like they listened to that other racist fraud - Jesse Jackson. Dems haven't carried the white vote - with the exception of the anomalous 1964 election - in a prez election since FDR. That will be 60 years in 2004. Dems stand no chance of approaching 50% w/o a solid 90% of the black vote. Sharpton is in the driver seat of the coming Dem trainwreck. The Dems bought off Jackson with largess and Ted Turner gave him his own show on CNN that no one watched - just so he wouldn't run again. Let's see what the Dems do with their latest Frankenstein.
