Point taken, especially if the average investor blindly trades off their info. I use it, along with all kinds of T/A indicators to determine whether their info will provide a wake-up call to a stock that is poised for a run anyway.

Their info also alerts me to info that I want to know, regardless of whether I trade off of it or not. I am one of those people who wants more, not less info, and I like to be as informed as possible during the day. I didn't rade off them, but I know that BMC could weaken a little now and perhaps present a better buying opportunity to buy or add more.

For instance I appreciated knowing about the GP earnings upgrade and the head of sales resigning from BMC. I would have not likely known about those on a timely basis otherwise. I didn't trade off them, but I know that combined with a weaker market, I now might be able to pick up BMC on a re-buy at lower levels than I originally thought, especially since the market typically over-reacts to everything.
