I see that the more competent folks on SI anticipate a moderate pullback and then a run to new highs. That jives with the analysts and fund mangers on CNBC saying they would welcome a pullback to load up a bit more. I wonder how much patience they have.

Meanwhile, I noticed that the pc actually declined yesterday as the market sold and is somewhat low today. Surveys of investors are at historically high bullish levels.

Lots of earnings next week. The rally has been so steep and I'm very curious as to exactly how strong the hands are that are holding stocks. With the market at such an inflection point and bands tight as can be, something has to give soon in one direction or the other. I bet down because it looks like a good "sell the news" scenario for next week.

Anyway, I unboxed yesterday and added to shorts today when compx was about even. Tight stop on the new shorts but no plan to cover the old.
