Bernstein is eating craps now...Kmart Corp (KM) 5.02 +0.31: -- Before Open -- Bernstein believes concerns over bankruptcy at KM are overblown; firm sees opportunity to close up to 250 under performing locations and their analysis indicates that such a move could generate significant cash and earnings upside. Bernstein does concede that the company will be forced to implement another major restructuring initiative (given weak holiday sales performance and major margin contraction) and accordingly, cuts their Q4 EPS estimate to $0.24 from $0.41 previously; firm rates KM a Market Perform.
