HEY! You got it right! Yeah, little absorption in the visible range and fairly strong absorption in infrared, usually caused by a "hole" (an absorption peak).

Water vapor is a greenhouse gas. When you look at those oceans out there and at the amount of H2O vapor in the atmosphere, the contibution of human activities appears pretty puny. And that's without taking into account all of the CO2 that is generated naturally.

If I had to bet it at this point, I'd bet the greenhouse warming theory is wrong.
