But never keep close track of my totals during any calendar year. Used to do it years ago. And for some folks it's a good idea. But, for me, found it became a distraction that got me thinking about how much money I was making vs concentrating on the game. My trading performance went up as soon as I stopped checking.

Never have more than a vague idea of what a year yielded till Mrs Patch does the taxes in March.
