If what one means is "love everyone" then why say "love me"? This is exactly the sort of obfuscation that I was referring to. Intentional misdirection and slight-of-hand has its uses in prestidigitation but it's always struck me as something akin to bad manners in serious discourse.

On "doing", CWG is very clear: There is nothing to do. The Illusion of Requirement is what drives all ritual and dogma. People spend their lives focused on "doing" when it's all about "being". Of course, wrap that simple message in sufficiently dense prose and it's little wonder it gets lost in the shuffle. <g>
