Tenchu, In Toronto church attendance has fallen over the years from around 70% in 1900 to the current low. It varies around the city as some groups are more able to hound their people into attending.
Hundreds of churches have closed over the years due to the loss of their people who attaned.
There is a church near my house and they get 30 or so on a sunday. They have weddings as well, one of the societal holdouts....even those who do not believe want to get wed in church(not in Vegas though)

Another observation is the demography. Most of the attendees are older people, relatively few younger people attend. In a religious community one would expect full representation with the numbers mirroring the society.
Not so, the young are deserting the churches in droves.

So it is a valid observation, one you can repeat in your area if you wish.
Do not tell me people us TV to attend church. Here TV on church is part of a $$ game to get you to send in money.

In any event, notice how polarising this is? Much more so than criticism of AMD/Intel?
See how people wish to impose their views on you and to show their feelings in strange ways.
