Now throwing the moon out of orbit is quite an interesting thought.

quote of the day:

"Anyone who destroyed records simply out of stupidity should be fired. Anyone who destroyed records to try and subvert our investigation should be prosecuted,"

Rep. Billy Tauzin, commenting on Arthur Anderson's admission that its employees have destroyed a "significant" number of documents "sought by federal law enforcement officials investigating the Enron debacle".

OT Mitch-c,
Thanks for the Input. That's additional knowledge to my aging mind. People are saying the mind doesn't deteriorate through age as long as it's regularly exercised. Unfortunately, the body does deteriorate over time.

You said, "For a Hydro dam, the energy comes from gravity potential - water up high pushes a turbine as it falls. Evaporation, rain, and runoff recycle the water into the reservoir. That's a natural energy cycle that is otherwise not captured for another purpose.:

If say my City of Milpitas, in the future when such Highway power is practical to use, decides to install Power generating devises along its 2 busy Highways --- the City does not incur additional expense nor will it run out of cars passing by 24 hours a day because those cars have free use of the Highways anyway. The cars like waves that keep on banging on the shores, like water that keep on filling rivers that supply dams --- they keep on cruising in highways day in and day out.

As for Cars, that Braking action concept is good. It will surely help power the Electric car I have in mind using different sources of power (which are to be traffically controlled ny CHIPs) such as Solar, Wind, Dynamos attached to the wheels and many others not yet invisioned. I don't think such power devises will slow down the car so much especially when going downhill. When I was a child I saw how a Dynamo attached to my father's bycicle front wheel gave power to a lighr bulb on the vehicle.

I even saw how a device spins powered by ordinary light. If a magnifying glass when used with sunlight could burn a paper and cook an egg --- maybe somebody could invent a cook stove using pure sunlight... Now I must stop ...

Again thanks to you.
