You can't lump all science into some one size fits all basket. Stem cell reasearch is a new area with at most 20 years or so of history at the basic gene level of theory. Weather in general and global warming in particular have a longer history of basic knowledge, a hundred years or more, and 20 to 30 years of specific science. The conclusions about global warming are much more solid than that of gene splicing, gene therapy, or stem cell investigations. TP
