You may not be fully aware that the so-called "facility" you note was not exactly voluntarily acquired.

For thousands of years, the Jews have always made the best of "the cards dealt them". You can go back to the Babylonian capture and enslavement of them...they ended up prospering in Babylon. Even Joseph himself, who was sold into slavery to Egypt by his brothers (They were all the sons of Jacob). Then his "owner" had him imprisoned. Then he ended up running Egypt's business affairs for Pharoah. Then Joseph's brothers came to Egypt looking for food. Their families became the people the Egyptians enslaved. The biggest fear the Egyptians had of them was that they always prospered...and the Egyptians subjected them to more and more oppressive slavery. You can keep putting them down. But you can't keep them down. Give them lemons and they make lemonade.

One of the many reasons why I'm against discrimination on genetic grounds...It just becomes more trouble at the end of the day.

Us Anglo Saxon white boys are still paying the price at the race track <ggg>

Intersting statistic. When I was in the horse racing biz, The SP (starting price)from Bookies on all horses on all races used to be (20+ yrs ago) marginally better for the punters (customers) then the State owned "Tote" SP. Probably the same today. The Government will never do as good as "free enterprise" in most conditions.
