THe taxes we all pay have nothing to do with how much a politician gets from a gov't to run a campaign.

Where there is money and influence to be had and made then you will have corruption. I think that the corruption would be reduced if there was more regulation of spending. One need only to look at Enron for a good example that will unfold before all our eyes.
