Hmm, here's a rather interesting legal argument:

Lawyers for the defendants argued last month that the judge lacked authority to order a freeze, and that it would be a monumental task to liquidate real estate, stocks or other assets bought with proceeds from Enron stock sales so the money could be frozen.

Lessee, I could sell the stocks and bonds in about 5 minutes after tomorrow's opening. The real estate is a bit more involved, but a nice auction on E-Bay could take care of it in a week or two. Hell, I'll volunteer to do it all myself, for only a 5% commish!<VBG>
