Tiger from what I see there isn't much being taught today in school. Its not just conservative or liberal thought. There are great Western thinkers who run the gamut of conservative and liberal thought and the kids today are not learning what they left behind. Do you really want a world that is dominated by Muslim or African thought and culture. You are talking about advanced biotech in your latest posts. Well in Africa the newest cure for Aids is raping a baby. To be honest there is little value in the cultures of the world today. Mostly ignorance and religious superstition. You with your dislike or religion should see the danger in that. Christianity has evolved from the dark ages and mostly lives in a co-existence with science. That cannot be said of the Moslem faith.
