Yes, I felt they should have been punished. One of the punks got punished in a unique way. About four or five years after this particular punk participated in the ganging up, one of my friends had to visit somebody while we were hanging around one Friday night, so I entered the house and sat down waiting. So who walks in, but one of the punks who punched me, while others beat me over the head with sticks in 1965.... I stood up and stared him down, and the sweat starting to pour down his face.... Being in his family's house, I knew my butt would land in jail if I evened the score, so I just kept staring him down until he caved in and profusely apologized. The fact that he had to do this in front of our mutual friend was some consolation, especially since my friend never knew his other friend did such a dastardly deed and was deeply shocked!
