Mr Palau yes it pretty rotten isn't it. Under Bill CLinton the numbers speak loudly. The rich got richer. You live in the Bay area and you know that despite the fact that they stopped talking about it the homeless population grew. Now I didn't mention BC to bash him but to show that even during a great economic time and with a very liberal and popular president the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. It never changes. What is scary though is that the reduction of the middle class is happening because of the growth of the government and wealthy class. The politicians are attempting to buy out the votes of people. GW got into the act today stating that he wants to give foodstamps to the illegal immigrants. COmpassionate conservatism or buy the votes ? In either case it will come from the pockets of the working class. On the positive side 49er's are having a great year. Garcia is doing great. Local boy from the garlic capital.
