Hello All

To be honest, I did not invest in TWG because of Torngate. While I followed TWG’s discovery and exploration data on it over the past few years, I did not believe the market would reward enough share value when other plays offered much higher tonnage through pipes. This proved to be true for WSP and for SUF and I saw no reason to fight the market.

Having said that, I just reread TWG news releases on Torngate and while they are not “outstanding” or “incredible” they are not without some very interesting numbers both in terms of sections of dyke greater than 2 metres, but also in terms of higher grade sections, diamond quality and size.

Nothing I have read here suggests to me that management followed anything but a prudent and reasonable exploration methodology and as they did so, they discovered better numbers.

While it is still too early to say, there is a definite possibility that Torngate could be economic and very certainly, a long life mine. I doubt however that it will ever be a 5,000 tpd mine.

Regardless, these numbers (up to .88cpt & quality +carrat goods) suggest potential. As with JI, because of tide water bulk supply economies of scale and being able to mine directly in and cave ore down, Torngate mining and supply costs probably would be more economic than they will be for DeBeers at Snap Lake.

What will the $/tonne be over reasonably long strikes (and blows)? That is the issue... and that takes exploration and sampling to establish.

The numbers speak for themselves.

I also came across this NR and I invite all to note the quotation (not from Diamond Trading N.V) but from Lakefield Research.

Hi Valuepro, WillP, VAUGHN and others.

I usually don't spend a lot of time doing «dd» on stocks I have discarded, but for you gentlemen, I'll do a favor!!!!

Would you mind, please naming these other companies? This is critical information and I'd like to
follow-up by speaking with them.

1)Toronto, Ontario - Monday, October 16, 2000, 3:34 PM EDT

Torngat Diamond Exploration: A report by CaribGold Resources
Inc.'s consultant, Apex Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton has,
concluded that micro-probing results by the Saskatchewan Research
Council has confirmed a G9 pyrope garnet as well as a low mantle
derived chrome diopside and a chrome bearing Mg-orthopyroxene
from one of sixteen samples collected on CaribGold's Torngat
mineral exploration permit, PEM-1484. Apex has advised CaribGold
that the source of these minerals is likely a kimberlite or
closely related mantle rock.

A total of sixteen samples were collected along the north shore
of the Abloviak Fiord at 500-foot intervals within the Company's
PEM-1484 permit. This permit covers a 51 sq. km. area that wedges
into the western boundary of Twin Mining Corporation's property,
and is 2-3 kilometres to the northwest of Twin Mining's diamond
discovery.

Apex Geoscience Ltd. has recently completed a reconnaissance,
mapping and prospecting program over CaribGold's 100% owned
permits in the Torngat area. These two permits cover a total of
130 sq. km., including the 51 sq. km. PEM-1484 permit. Results of
the Apex program and recommendations will be reported upon after
a final report is received.

So. Where are the diamonds. This option was abandonned and the claims were recently sold to Oasis diamond by the owner

2) TORONTO, ONTARIO--2001-03-07Dumont Nickel Inc. (DNI-CDNX;
www.dumontnickel.com) announced mineralogical analysis and caustic
fusion results from its Torngat Quebec property.

In summer 2000, Dumont carried out helicopter-based prospecting on
its Torngat, Quebec diamond exploration property (334 sq km - 100%
interest; 511 sq km - Dumont 50%, Marum Resources -50%). A total
of 33 dikes were discovered. From these dikes, Dumont took
twenty-six 50-kg samples (of which 8 were on joint venture
property). Caustic fusion of all 26 samples was completed on
March 2, 2001. Single microdiamonds were observed in 4 samples on
Dumont's 100% property, but the other samples were barren.
Mineralogical analysis was carried out on 7 samples, identifying
olivine, phlogopite, chrome diopside, chromite, ilmenite and
garnet. All 7 samples were kimberlites and the composition of some
mineral grains overlapped the diamond stability field. Dumont
considers the results disappointing and will shift diamond
exploration to other properties in Quebec and Ontario where
knowledge gained in the Torngat program can be applied to
prospects which Dumont deems to have greater potential. Some
detailed follow-up work at Torngat would be considered if Twin
Mining's mini-bulk sample results expected in late March/April
2001 warrant. In January, 2001, Twin Mining reported the discovery
of commercial-sized diamonds at its Torngat claims located three
kilometers from the Dumont property.

So. Where are the diamonds. ....They are now drilling in the James Bay Lowlands

3)Toronto, January 11,2001.Tandem Resources Ltd. ("Tandem") reports that two new discoveries have been made at Abloviak Fiord, Ungava Bay, in Northeastern Quebec. These are separate, and in no way related to the original diamond find reported several months ago.

In the course of analyzing several samples for diamonds, Lakefield Research ("Lakefield") of Lakefield, Ontario, reports the presence of a large number of rubies. This discovery lies more than 1 km west of the original diamond discovery. Lakefield counted over 125 rubies in one sample of which 5% were larger stones (over 0.50 mm in one direction). The colour of these rubies varied from pink to dark red. Further evaluation of these stones, and others that may be found will be undertaken at a later date. Other samples are being investigated for the presence of rubies. At this time it is not known whether these stones are part of a dike system or are related to other factors.

Ruby is a variety of the mineral corundum and the second hardest gemstone next to diamonds. It's colours can vary from a delicate pink to deep carmine red. The dark carmine red ruby is rare and the value exceeds that of a comparable diamond. Another dike system about 6 km north of Abloviak Fiord has yielded a micro diamond in a small sample. Further sampling of this area will be undertaken in this year's program.

Previously, Tandem reported a diamond discovery in a kimberlite dike which has been traced over 3.5 miles. Two samples from this dike, about 1 km apart, returned 10 diamonds, including 4 larger stones designated as macros (greater than 0.5 mm) in one direction.

Toronto, November 1, 2001Tandem Resources Ltd. ("Tandem") reports that it is acquiring from prospector Peter Ferderber, a 100% interest in 56 square kilometres in the Torngat Area near Ungava Bay in Northeastern Quebec, in consideration for $11,200. The ground adjoins Twin Mining which has previously reported the occurrences of diamonds in kimberlite dikes. At least 3 dikes are known to occur on Tandem's new property and rock samples have been taken from these dikes to determine if they are diamond bearing. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.

Tandem also owns a 40% back-in interest in a further 470 square kilometres in the Torngat area where an American company, Diamond Discoveries International has been conducting an extensive surface exploration program during the past two summers. This year approximately 7 tons of samples were taken from various areas, including a dike where diamonds were found last year. All samples have been shipped to Lakefield, Ontario for diamond analysis. Several new kimberlitic features have been found. Sediment samples taken in the vicinity of these features have shown a high proportion of diamond indicator minerals. These indicators suggest
that there is a high probability that these features may be diamond bearing. Analysis of kimberlitic rock samples is underway at Lakefield.

How many diamonds?

Waiting for the results. The new property was owned by Levelland (Optionned from Ferderber). THey abandonned their option

4) October 25, 2000 - Marum Resources Inc. announces the completion of the summer field portion of its 2000 Torngat diamond exploration program in northern Quebec. Two helicopter-supported mapping and sampling programs were carried out in August and September. The program was carried out on an exploration cost-sharing basis with Dumont Nickel Inc. (DNI-M, DNI-V, www.dumontnickel.com) under a joint exploration agreement that provided for new kimberlite discoveries on open ground to be acquired on a 50/50 joint venture basis. A significant
additional land position has been assembled on a joint venture basis with Dumont.

Additionally, Marum has conducted preliminary research of ultramafic, kimberlitic and potentially diamondiferous samples in the Torngat Peninsula up to 150 kilometres away from the currently active Torngat diamond exploration area and has acquired exploration property on the basis of this reconnaissance work.

Management's preliminary analysis of field results is that the program has been an overwhelming success. Twelve significant kimberlite dykes have so far been been identified on Marum and Marum/Dumont joint venture land. One Marum permit contains a large diamond exploration target that is different from the kimberlite dykes that are the major focus of the current Torngat exploration play that has been pioneered by Twin Mining Corporation (TWG-T, www.twinmining.com). The geometry of this new discovery is not yet defined but it appears to be forty-five metres wide and lies within an 8 kilometre long structure. Preliminary petrographic analyses indicate that it is a potential diamond host rock, being a coarse-grained, mantle derived, serpentinized, pyropic, chromitic, olivine-rich rock known as a dunite. This discovery may represent a new dimension to the Torngat diamond play since such rocks are known to preferentially concentrate diamond in several of the world's diamond producing areas, although its nature, geometry and diamond bearing potential in the rapidly developing Torngat diamond play is not yet known.

Marum is conducting heavy mineral indicator analyses on samples. Visual analysis of sample concentrates suggest an abundance of pyropic garnets and other indicator minerals. Only one Marum sample has been subjected to caustic dissolution analysis, a 45 Kg sample from permit 1466. No diamonds were recovered from the sample. Additional analytical results will be announced as they are received.

August 20, 2001 - Marum has agreed to purchase from a non-arms length private Alberta company Exploration Permits Nos. 1478 and 1500 in the Torngat area of Quebec for a consideration of $50,000. Permits 1478 and 1500 contain kimberlite dykes that were discovered during the summer of 2000. The company has concluded the reconnaissance phase of its Torngat exploration program and is consolidating its land position to permits that contain kimberlite dykes that appear to be related to nearby Twin Mining Corporation dykes that are known to contain diamonds. A sampling program is planned for September 2001.

Where are the diamonds? Total silence since the last PR

5) January 15, 2001 – International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. announces the completion of its 2000
Torngat diamond exploration program in northern Quebec. Two helicopter-supported mapping
and sampling programs were carried out in August and September. The objective of the 2000
Torngat exploration program was to catalogue kimberlite dykes that were visible from the air and
to take samples for geochemical analysis. One large 5-metre wide dyke was discovered. Its
linear extent remains unknown. Geochemical analysis indicates that the kimberlite originated in
the diamond stability field and is a potential diamond host. One sample was submitted for caustic
dissolution and no diamonds were recovered. The Company intends to carry out a follow-up
sampling and mapping program in mid-2001. Its objectives will be to take significantly larger
samples from various locations on the 5-metre wide dyke and to explore for additional dykes on
the basis of airborne geophysical data.

So........and these results!. Company has been approved for listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
and began trading October 3, 2001 under the trading symbol “IW9”.

6)January 11, 2000, Burlington, Ontario.

Band-Ore Resources Ltd. (BAN.T) and Southern Africa Minerals Corporation (SAF.T) jointly announce that they each have acquired a 50% interest (total 100%) in mineral exploration permit 1504 located on the east side of Ungava Bay, in northern Quebec. The 89.5 square Km property is situated approximately 10 Km south of the new diamond discoveries announced by Twin Gold Corp. (TWG.T) in October and December,1999. The permit was acquired based on information obtained from a preliminary structural analysis of the area using satellite imagery. The project covers similar structures known to exist on the Twin Gold and neighbouring properties in the area.

Band-Ore and Southern Africa are participating in a detailed structural study of the area using modern satellite imagery including Landstat TM, SPOT panchromatic images, aeromagnetic data and digital elevation data to map structural controls on the property. The costs of the program will be shared with other companies in the
area and Marum Resources Inc. (MMU.V) who have kindly spearheaded the acquisition and analysis of the satellite data.

August 8, 2000, Burlington, Ontario. Southern Africa Minerals and equal partner and operator Band-Ore Resources will also conduct a field program on the 500 km² Keglo Bay diamond property in Northern Québec. The summer program will investigate several linear structures similar to the structures hosting the diamondiferous kimberlites of Twin Mining Corporation, located 10 km to the north of the Keglo Bay property. The structures have been identified on the basis of satellite imagery and a photomosaic constructed from 1:50000 air photos assembled
by MIR Teledetection of Montreal. Results of a high resolution airborne magnetometer and electromagnetic survey by Spectra Exploration Geoscience Corp of Calgary, conducted over the north sector of the property, are expected in August. On July 27th, 2000, Twin Mining Corporation reported the recovery of a macrodiamond in hand specimen extending the known diamondiferous strike length to 15 km and a cumulative strike length of 50 km.

October 17, 2000, Burlington, Ontari0. Keglo Bay, Ungava, Quebec –Diamond Property. Prospecting and sampling completed on the Company’s Keglo Bay joint venture in late August/early September has identified three dike structures that are similar to diamond bearing dikes found on the Twin Mining property located 10 km to the north. The most significant structure discovered during this preliminary exploration program is a dike feature that was traced along a strike length of over 4.5 km. The topographical lineament, which defines the location of the dike, was noted to vary in width from 1-2.5 metres. Photographs of the dike structure have been posted on the company’s website (www.southernafrica.net). Over 150 kilograms of samples have been collected from the property and will be submitted for whole rock analyses, microprobe analyses and caustic fusion for microdiamond recovery. Preliminary geochemical results indicate rocks of ultramafic compositions with three of six samples indicating rocks of kimberlitic affinity. Several other dike-like structures remain unsampled and require detailed field investigation The project is a 50/50 joint venture with Band-Ore Resources Ltd (BAN.T). Band-Ore is the operator.

So, where are the diamonds! Total silence since the lart PR

And so and so and so....................

There were diamonds everywhere on TWG dykes systems. You could even find them in grab samples.
How come there are no diamonds on kimberlitic dykes of the other properties?

How many companies have worked in the Jackson Inlet area and how many were successful in discovering sufficient diamonds?

Would you please direct me to such financials. I can't seem to find where the prez earned 25% of millions of dollars. Some hard figures would be appreciated.

Hermann's salary is available in the management circular. The amount of money spent on properties is available in the detailled financial statements. Up to december 2000, they spent 3 millions dollars in the Torngat. During these 3 years, Hermann has had 750,000 in salary, which represent 25% of 3 millions. The torngat property was their most active property at that time.

Now, it's enough for me.

Have a nice day.
