09:23 ET Greenspan Speech : There is a great deal of focus on Greenspan today; he will speak to the Bay Area Council in SF at 13:45 ET. Many Greenspan speeches pass with little notice, but every so often he will deliver some important policy clues in a speech. Given that 1) we haven't heard his views on the economy in some time, 2) we are now at a possible turning point in the business cycle, and 3) the subject of the speech is the economy, it is reasonable to bet that today's speech will indeed be a key market event.
