As far as this goes, in the words attributed to the late Senate Minority Leader, Everett Dirksen, " a billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money".

The pessimists are missing the big picture. The Information Economy (internet) revolution is real. The world is on the brink of the same kind of enormous leap in productivity and prosperity that occurred with the Industrial Revolution, and the US is the locomotive that will pull the rest of the world into this new prosperity. Booms, Busts and Recoveries are nothing more than momentary departures from an upwards trend line whose slope has increased significantly.
